Frequently asked questions.

I’ll start by saying that this was the page I was most excited to make for my website. You’ll see why as you read it. If you can’t find the answer you need here, reach out and I will happily answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Why should I hire you?

Honestly, I don’t get asked that question very often, but I put it on here anyway. In short, you should hire me because I’m good at what I do and I love doing it.

  • I love animals - if you’re like me and are having your dog in your wedding, or if you want to get some photos with your pets, I’m your girl.

  • I come from a loud family, so I can be diplomatic, loud, gentle and everything in between. I get along with almost everyone.

  • I’m a nice person! Seriously, would you want to have your photographer make you feel uncomfortable or make rude comments when someone isn’t standing still for a picture? Think about it

  • I’m responsive and will do what I can to make sure that everyone is happy at the end of the day. I’m also willing to go the extra mile to meet your needs or wants.

How long have you been doing photography?

In short, I’ve been freelancing for about 10 years.

Does this answer your question? ;)

I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was four years old. I started seriously working on my skills when I was about 14, and I started photographing sports for high school and doing portraiture when I was around 15.

How long do I have to wait for my photographs?

As a photographer, I always used to hate getting this question… Then I got engaged and hounded my lovely photographer about my engagement photos, so I get it. Turnaround time depends on what you hired me for, and what time of year it is. General photoshoots take 2-3 weeks on average, and events such as weddings, parties, or celebrations take a bit longer to edit.

Who and what will you photograph?

I do portrait work, event photography, nature photography, sports and more. If you have any questions, let me know and chances are, I’ll be willing to do it.

With that aside, I will say that I’ve done a lot of things. I won’t photograph snakes or spiders, but other than that, we’re good!

I’ll even photograph your pet axolotl if you want! (Unless you live in D.C., because it is illegal to own one there).
